Miranda Esmonde-White is a New York Times bestselling author of the Aging Backwards series, a world-renowned healthy aging educator and pioneer in the field of stretching. A former professional ballerina, Miranda created the globally-recognized and science-based fitness technique, Essentrics® in 1997—becoming a flexibility trainer to numerous high-performance athletes and celebrities. She is the Executive Producer, creator and host of the 20-year running fitness television show Classical Stretch, and the award-winning docuseries, Aging Backwards and Forever Painless—airing nationwide on PBS and American Public Television.
With a worldwide following amongst the 50+ market – Miranda’s fast track program is revolutionizing the way we understand the role that our cells, muscles, bones, connective tissue and joints play in slowing down the aging process while keeping our bodies feeling young, healthy and pain-free.
Based in Montreal, Miranda spends her time developing the technique, writing, and training new instructors. She also travels extensively giving lectures, leading teacher training sessions and hosting retreats.
Sahra Esmonde-White is co-founder and CEO of Essentrics and host of the Essentrics® Workout Series created by Miranda Esmonde-White. She has produced over 300 fitness television shows, as well as the award-winning PBS docuseries, Aging Backwards and Forever Painless—airing nationwide on PBS and American Public Television.
Named one of Canada’s top health experts by both Fashion Magazine and Flare, two of North America’s top women’s publications—her workout series has received several awards in Canada and the UK. Sahra works closely with celebrities such as Canadian actress Sarah Gadon, currently starring in the CBC/Netflix miniseries adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s Alias Grace, and Olympians and professional athletes including the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens. With a bachelor’s degree in economics and graduate studies in public health, Sahra has made it her life’s mission to help people lead healthy lives through intelligent fitness and a thoughtful lifestyle. Her most recent project involves reviving her grandmother’s gardens and apothecary.
Danielle de Wildt is the head of Essentrics EU and an Essentrics Master Trainer.
Danielle discovered Essentrics during a retreat with Miranda Esmonde-White in Mexico in 2007. She immediately fell in love with the program for the effective and gentle way it relieved her shoulder and knee pain, improved her posture and helped her regain her strength. Danielle pursued training with Miranda and Sahra Esmonde-White in Montreal and became the first Essentrics instructor in Europe.
Danielle began teaching Essentrics classes in her native Netherlands, where Essentrics quickly gained popularity, and we currently have a thriving teacher community. She loves sharing the technique’s benefits that have been life changing for her with people from all fitness levels and age groups.
Maude is an Essentrics Instructor and Essentrics TV workout host. She has been teaching in Montreal since 2013 and joined the Teacher Training department at the Essentrics Head Office in 2014. Maude is responsible for coordinating all the events at Essentrics, including fitness retreats, teacher training and special events.
Her first passion at very young age was dance. After dancing for many years and teaching dance, she found Essentrics while suffering from a bad knee injury. It is during this time that she fell in love with the program and wanted to share this great technique to keep more people pain and injury-free. Maude loves to share her passion of moving to the music in her Essentrics classes. She works with a variety of clients from different backgrounds, from athletes to Aging Backwards groups.
Gail Garceau is an Essentrics Master Trainer, Educator and Essentrics TV workout host. Gail has been teaching Essentrics since 2013 and joined the Teacher Training department at the Essentrics Head Office in 2014. She works closely with Miranda Esmonde-White on scientific research and the development of the Essentrics program and instructor curriculum. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry while training professional athletes and leading live teacher trainings, workshops and retreats worldwide. Gail is passionate about educating people of all ages and fitness levels on the benefits of Essentrics for injury prevention and improved performance. She enjoys volleyball, snowboarding, golf, tennis and soccer. Essentrics improved her power in sports and relieved chronic pain.

For generations, Susanne Kaufmann and her family have called the idyllic Austrian Alpine region of the Bregenzerwald their home. The rolling hills, rugged peaks, vast meadows, and rare plant life are beautifully framed by cultivated land, creating a picturesque scene complemented by the delightful aroma of homegrown herbs and vibrant flora.
Having grown up surrounded by local traditions, Susanne developed a deep understanding of the abundant plants in the area, appreciating their beauty and wellness benefits. These very plants have been a constant source of inspiration for her skincare brand, which she launched in 2003.
Today, the Susanne Kaufmann brand seamlessly blends her expertise in natural ingredients and skincare philosophy with her commitment to innovation and sustainable living, resonating with customers worldwide.
As the fifth generation of hoteliers to lead the renowned Hotel Post Bezau, Susanne Kaufmann brought a fresh burst of energy to this esteemed establishment after graduating from the prestigious Centre International de Glion with a degree in hotel management.

Getting to Post Bezau:
By Plane: Zurich (ZRH) is the easiest airport to fly to! The hotel will be happy to organize a shuttle service for you from there, right to Post Bezau, at an extra cost.
Other airports you can fly to, depending on your travel plans: Altenrhein (42 km), Friedrichshafen (72 km), Memmingen (114 km), Munich (250 km), Milan (316 km).
By Train: If you are travelling from another European destination, you can take the train to Zurich (and take a moment to visit this beautiful city) or to Dornbirn, which is near and convenient. A taxi pickup at an extra cost can gladly be organized for you from the stations.
By Car: It is a beautiful drive to Post Bezau. If you are travelling from another European city: cars are easy to rent and provide freedom to explore the area.
Cancellation Policy:
We kindly ask that you take into consideration these cancellation terms when making your reservation. Please note that last-minute cancellations may incur significant charges. If you need to cancel your reservation, please review the following guidelines:
-Cancellation made at least 4 weeks prior to the event will result in a 50% refund of your total payment.
-For cancellations made with less than 1 week remaining until the event, a charge of 90% of the total amount will be applicable.
Please keep in mind that you are responsible for arranging your own flights and transfers from the airport to the spa. To safeguard against unforeseen circumstances, we highly recommend considering cancellation insurance when making your flight reservations.
