Smoothies are a great way to consume all your nutrients, boost your energy and stay hydrated between classes. Not only are they delicious, but they are quick and easy to make! Try this recipe and see for yourself!


  • Half a banana & Half a mango
  • Greek yogurt (vanilla or plain) (1/2 cup)
  • Coconut milk (1/2 cup)
  • Chia seeds (1 tsp)
  • Flaxseed (1 tsp)
  • Fresh ginger ( 1 inch piece)

The fiber from the chia seeds and flaxseeds will slow down your digestive system which will keep you feeling satisfied for longer and prevent sudden hunger pains. Make sure to use grounded flaxseeds in order to obtain all of its nutrients. Ginger is great if you’re feeling under the weather and due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it helps digestion and decreases bloating and nausea.

The experience I gained at this workshop is truly invaluable! We really focused on being able to look at things like Miranda does. Now, I am no Miranda but she really helped me to see things – things that I was not seeing before! Since coming back from the workshop I am much more aware of issues with my students’ form and can now readily assist them to make fixes that will help them truly feel the stretch and ultimately achieve maximum results.

 Meeting Miranda in person was such a wonderful experience. She is so down to earth and humble that it made me love and respect her that much more!!
