Pre-Choreographed Workouts 


Designed by Master Trainers to guide your teaching & deliver results to your students. 

Pre-Choreographed Workouts (PCWs) are the workouts Certified Instructors teach while completing the 4-level certification program to learn the formula of an Essentrics Workout. PCWs consist of pre-defined exercise sequences set to a varied music playlist based on a one-hour class structure. Each PCW has a specific theme while offering a full-body rebalancing workout.

Designed by Master Trainers, PCWs are tried and tested routines that help you stay true to the technique and deliver the intended objectives. You must stick to them until you have completed Level 4.

Each PCW includes videos demonstrating how to teach the full routine with valuable teaching tips. The accompanying written content covers detailed exercise breakdowns, objectives, techniques, target anatomy, descriptive imagery, modifications, and common mistakes to watch for.

Every Essentrics workout is carefully designed to be effective, balanced and safe. Essentrics is not a program that randomly combines unrelated exercises; individual exercises are meaningless unless they are properly sequenced to ensure the correct combination of objectives, techniques, and target anatomy.

Learning to teach Essentrics is like learning a new language; first you learn the vocabulary, then how to put the words together to form a sentence. Once you understand the basics, you can finally have a conversation – but it requires a lot of mimicking and repetition before it becomes second nature. In the same way, through repeating the Pre-Choreographed Workouts, you learn the language of Essentrics. This is the only way to understand the flow and logic of the program.

Certified Instructors are required to teach the Pre-Choreographed Workouts while in training from Levels 1 to 4. Upon completing Level 1, you may choose the PCWs that best suit your desired clientele. It is only upon obtaining your Level 4 certification that you may create your Essentrics workouts.

Every Level builds upon the previous one and introduces unique concepts, helping you take the next step in mastering the entire Essentrics program. Here are some suggested workouts to help you progress through the certification while providing fun and engaging classes for your students!

AFTER PASSING LEVEL 1

Passing Level 1 is not only a huge accomplishment, but also an opportunity to explore other PCWs. These suggested PCWs are easy to follow and build on the Essentrics principles introduced in Level 1. They provide excellent examples of Trademark Sequences, the most distinctive part of every Essentrics workout, and your focus in Level 2. These sweeping full-body movements rebalance the spine for enhanced strength, flexibility and posture. These workouts will also inspire you as you design your own original Trademarks Sequences for your Level 2 exam.

  • PCW4: Toning the Full Body & Increasing Spine Mobility
  • PCW6: Strengthening the Core & Slimming the Waist
  • PCW7: Unlocking Posture & Toning the Lower Body
  • PCW9: Reversing Aging & Relieving Stress

AFTER PASSING LEVEL 2

You are now working towards Level 3: Flexibility and Therapeutic Exercises. These suggested workouts focus on effective cueing and modifications to achieve therapeutic objectives. They prepare you for Level 3 by introducing barre/chair work to rebalance the Big 4 muscle groups and safely develop your flexibility. These workouts provide examples of sequences that you will demonstrate in your Level 3 exam.

  • PCW 11: Developing Strength, Flexibility & Balance
  • PCW13: Age-Reversing, Releasing Tension & Developing Body Awareness
  • PCW15: Rejuvenating & Strengthening Connective Tissue
  • PCW16: Unlocking Joint Range of Motion & Alignment for Enhanced Posture

AFTER PASSING LEVEL 3

You are now working on Level 4: Strengthening Exercises. These workouts are not only more complex to learn but will also help you achieve strength in motion. They contain sequences that demonstrate how to build intensity progressively to challenge your students, making them a great complement to the Level 4 curriculum.

  • PCW12: Building Strength, Endurance & Mobility
  • PCW14: Core Strengthening & Leg Shaping

AFTER PASSING LEVEL 4

You are now a fully certified Level 4 Instructor. With this major achievement comes the opportunity to create your own original balanced Essentrics workouts. As you set your sights on this new horizon, these recommended workouts provide a challenge for students with higher levels of both strength and mobility, while offering you the freedom to interpret and modify the sequences based on your current or desired clientele.
