About the Live Teacher Training | Level 2
Learn the formula for designing full-body rebalancing Essentrics Trademark Sequences.
The Level 2 Live Teacher Training is your opportunity to dive deeper into the most distinctive and complex part of every Essentrics workout: Trademark Sequences. Achieving fluidity in the movements and transitions – while cueing and correcting your students with precision – requires a deeper understanding of the method. When you learn to bring it all together, the results for both you and your students will be exceptional.
What You’ll Learn
This interactive 3-day training is designed to give you the tools and confidence to elevate your teaching skills and enrich your students’ experience. Here’s what to expect:
- Hands-On Experience: Group practice and breakdown of Trademark positions, transitions, and exercises.
- Gain Feedback: Refine your form with real-time feedback to enhance how you execute and teach Trademarks.
- Teaching Skills: Learn how to apply techniques, adjust speed, and cue effectively to help your students achieve their objectives.
- Musicality: Practice moving to a variety of music, understand the flow of each song, and analyze genres to create effective Trademark Sequences.
- Anatomy: Expand your understanding of the spine’s role in movement and its application in Essentrics.
- Exam Prep: Learn how to create full-body rebalancing sequences, a crucial skill for your Level 2 exam.

Led by expert instructors, daily live classes provide an engaging way to experience new cues, music and teaching styles – offering inspiration to bring back to your own students.

Pre-Event Virtual Session: Level 2 Theory
Prepare for your live training with a 90-minute virtual theory session on Zoom, held before the live event. This session will help you feel ready to apply the foundational principles of Level 2 Trademark Sequences, setting the stage for an immersive live training experience.

Severina Gates is a Level 4 Essentrics Instructor, Educator and Examiner who has been teaching in the Boston area since 2013. She first discovered Essentrics in 2009 through the PBS show Classical Stretch while recovering from abdominal surgery. Drawn to the technique’s therapeutic and rebalancing approach, Severina became passionate about bringing the benefits of Essentrics to people of all ages and abilities. In 2022, after the birth of her first daughter via cesarean, she used Essentrics throughout her recovery, deepening her understanding of the body’s ability to heal through movement and inspiring PCW17.
Since joining the Essentrics Head Office in 2019, Severina has worked in the Marketing department as a Content Coordinator, helping write and edit educational blogs and social media content. With a bachelor’s degree in literature and a minor in Japanese studies, Severina finds similarities between her love of language and love of movement — sequencing exercises like a beautifully crafted sentence, while using techniques, imagery, and creative cuing to help her clients move with confidence and ease.
