JOB POSTINGS

Based in Montreal, QC, The Essentrics® team is growing and looking for a Customer Support Associate:

Main Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries by email, live chat, social media & phone calls
• Provide accurate and detailed information about our programs, services and products
• Capable of assisting our members with technical issues with our Essentrics TV streaming service, our online storefront, and our website
• Generate sales by providing outstanding customer support & education to our clients
• Navigate and oversee our various e-commerce platforms: Shopify, Amazon, Vimeo, Live Chat, warehousing & shipping software
• Process orders, returns, refunds, replacements, and troubleshoot issues with physical or digital orders

Key Qualifications:

• DCS/DEC or equivalent
• Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills
• Accurate typing skills (>40 WPM)
• Minimum 2 years experience in sales and/or customer service
• Experience with MacOS & Microsoft Office Suite (eCommerce experience is a plus)
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities within the Customer Experience department

Requirements:

• Strong teamwork and independent work initiative with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Able to manage time independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask within our various platforms while assisting customers
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills

The ideal candidate must be in Canada. Residing in Montreal or the surrounding area is an asset but not required.

Hybrid work is possible, provided you have a dedicated workspace in your home.

This is a permanent position (25 to 35 hours weekly), and weekends and holidays may be included during sale periods.

We are seeking a new graphic designer (Intermediate to Experience level, 5 years +) to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail. .

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:

  • Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
  • Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
  • Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
  • Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
  • Communicating with internal team about layout and design.
  • Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, websites with software such as photoshop.
  • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
  • Experience as a graphic designer or in related field.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
  • HTML, CSS and Javascript proficiency is a plus
  • A strong eye for visual composition.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
