For generations, Susanne Kaufmann and her family have called the idyllic Austrian Alpine region of the Bregenzerwald their home. The rolling hills, rugged peaks, vast meadows, and rare plant life are beautifully framed by cultivated land, creating a picturesque scene complemented by the delightful aroma of homegrown herbs and vibrant flora.
Having grown up surrounded by local traditions, Susanne developed a deep understanding of the abundant plants in the area, appreciating their beauty and wellness benefits. These very plants have been a constant source of inspiration for her skincare brand, which she launched in 2003.
Today, the Susanne Kaufmann brand seamlessly blends her expertise in natural ingredients and skincare philosophy with her commitment to innovation and sustainable living, resonating with customers worldwide.
As the fifth generation of hoteliers to lead the renowned Hotel Post Bezau, Susanne Kaufmann brought a fresh burst of energy to this esteemed establishment after graduating from the prestigious Centre International de Glion with a degree in hotel management.
Together with hotel director Stephanie Rist, Susanne has crafted a wellness retreat in the Bregenzerwald that emphasizes the pillars of spa, nutrition, sports, sleep, and the transformative power of nature. Their goal is to optimize health and foster inner balance.
Getting to Post Bezau:
By Plane: Zurich (ZRH) is the easiest airport to fly to! The hotel will be happy to organize a shuttle service for you from there, right to Post Bezau, at an extra cost.
Other airports you can fly to, depending on your travel plans: Altenrhein (42 km), Friedrichshafen (72 km), Memmingen (114 km), Munich (250 km), Milan (316 km).
By Train: If you are travelling from another European destination, you can take the train to Zurich (and take a moment to visit this beautiful city) or to Dornbirn, which is near and convenient. A taxi pickup at an extra cost can gladly be organized for you from the stations.
By Car: It is a beautiful drive to Post Bezau. If you are travelling from another European city: cars are easy to rent and provide freedom to explore the area.
Cancellation Policy:
We kindly ask that you take into consideration these cancellation terms when making your reservation. Please note that last-minute cancellations may incur significant charges. If you need to cancel your reservation, please review the following guidelines:
-Cancellation made at least 4 weeks prior to the event will result in a 50% refund of your total payment.
-For cancellations made with less than 1 week remaining until the event, a charge of 90% of the total amount will be applicable.
Please keep in mind that you are responsible for arranging your own flights and transfers from the airport to the spa. To safeguard against unforeseen circumstances, we highly recommend considering cancellation insurance when making your flight reservations.
