About the Live Teacher Training | Level 1
Are you ready to jump-start your journey to becoming a certified Essentrics instructor?
Join us for an interactive 3-day training designed to give you the skills to teach your first 30 Essentrics apprentice classes with ease and submit your Level 1 exam with confidence.
You’ll benefit from hands-on learning, real-time feedback, and expert guidance, allowing you to discover the techniques, alignment, and flow that make Essentrics so unique.
What You’ll Learn
This training will introduce you to the foundational principles of the Essentrics program while equipping you with the tools to lead effective, safe, and engaging classes. Here’s what to expect:
- Exercise Breakdowns: Detailed breakdown of every exercise in Pre-Choreographed Workout 1, including proper form and technique.
- Alignment: Understand how alignment impacts safety and effectiveness.
- Teaching Skills: Develop skills to guide a smooth, engaging 1-hour class.
- Cueing: Techniques for clear and impactful cueing using imagery and precise language.
- Musicality: Practice using music as a tool to guide movement pacing and intensity.
- Common Mistakes: How to identify common mistakes and offer simple, effective adjustments.
- Modifications: Ways to adapt PCW1 to make it more challenging or gentle to meet your students’ needs.
- Equipment: Best practices for using equipment to make exercises more accessible.
You will not only deepen your understanding of Essentrics for your personal practice but also come away prepared to lead classes with professionalism and confidence.
Daily Live Classes
Each day includes daily live classes designed to immerse you in the Essentrics method and inspire your future teaching.
Bonus
Earn 2 hours of credit per day towards your required apprentice teaching hours by attending this training.
Virtual Follow-Up Session
Keep your momentum going with a 60-minute group follow-up session on Zoom! We’ll have a Question & Answer session and check in on your Apprentice Hours so that you feel confident and connected moving forward.

Ellyn Ochs is a Level 4 Essentrics Instructor and Essentrics TV host who has been teaching in Montreal since 2016. She loves leading group classes that bring together people of all ages and mentoring future instructors. Since joining the Essentrics Head Office in 2020 as an editor and content writer, she has contributed to teacher training and marketing projects, combining her passion for movement with education and communication.
