Daily live Essentrics classes offer an inspiring experience that will leave you feeling motivated and connected within the Essentrics global community.
In this hands-on and engaging training, we will breakdown each of the sequences, learning:
- The correct execution of each sequence
- Proper alignment to make the workout effective and safe
- How to apply techniques to achieve your students’ desired objectives
Plus, you’ll learn to teach a fluid, and fun non-stop 1-hour Essentrics class including:
- Teaching skills and class set-up
- Working with the provided playlist and musicality
- Offering in-class pointers, verbal cueing, and imagery
- To identify common mistakes and provide easy-to-apply corrections and modifications
- How to make the routine more challenging, or gentler depending on the needs of your students
- Proper use of equipment
By attending this L1 Live Teacher Training, you’ll earn 2 hours/day credit towards your required Apprentice teaching hours.

Julia Bentz is a Level 4 Essentrics Instructor, Educator and Essentrics TV workout host based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She began teaching Essentrics in 2013, became a mentor teacher in 2016, and joined the Teacher Training department at the Essentrics Head Office in 2021. Julia’s roles include writing, editing and leading workshops and live teacher trainings.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Acting, and her experience in that field continues to be an invaluable resource for honing her teaching style, body awareness, and dynamic understanding of how movement affects us – physically, mentally, and emotionally.
As a teacher, Julia draws on her lifelong interest in health and the human experience to help people enhance their quality of life through Essentrics.
